Pete Rose’s crime was not how he performed on the diamond. The current tide of physical enhancement should show all the Hall of Fame that the all time player of the last 50 years should be reinstated and elected to the Hall of Fame. He played the hardest and the best in the spirit of the game. You may like him or hate him but he was the best in baseball.
A-Rod doesn’t come close.
Admit a mistake and elect Pete to the Hall of Fame. He deserves a plaque next to the Babe and Ty Cobb. He has the most hits in the game and played to win games. That is baseball.
