Durbin’s people not answering email

I have found that whoever responds to an email to Sen. Dick Durbin has not learned how to answer the question posed.

I have sent four emails to the senator about the cost of the recent Obama family trip to Africa.

I have gotten a form letter response that the president covers his family’s expenses.

I then asked for a net cost to the taxpayers and to date have received no answers.

I tried to make it easy for them to understand.

Just take the cost of the secret service and Air Force One and the entire family and entourage and subtract from that the check the Obamas cut to cover their trip.

Pretty simple math.

To date no answer.

Incidentally I have four dated emails that I sent.

I have often invited Senator Durbin to come to Naperville to hold a question-and-answer session.

Absolutely no response.

We are the fifth largest city in the state and we are financially solid. That must terrify him.

He got in on a fluke because the Republicans went out of state to run a terrible candidate.

Now it’s time to get rid of Durbin.
