Last time: On Friday, the Sky defeated the host Connecticut Sun 83-70; on Saturday, the Liberty lost to the visiting Indiana Fever 74-53.

Skinny: These two teams should be sick of each other by Saturday, with two games in the next three days, one in New Jersey and the other in Chicago. By Saturday, the Sky and the Liberty will have completed four games in their five-game series, and all before the all-star break. … With a win Thursday, the Sky would be in a virtual tie with the Atlanta Dream for first place in the Eastern Conference. … The Sky routed the Liberty 93-64 on July 7, the last time the two teams met. Sky rookie forward Elena Delle Donne had 20 points; she is coming off a 23-point performance in Connecticut. Fellow forward Swin Cash had a season-high 19 points against the Sun. … The Liberty has lost six of its last eight, including 2 losses to the Sky.
