The Citizens Utility Board will be in Hanover Park to explain the latest utility issues and scams impacting consumers, and analyze electric, natural gas and phone bills at a free clinic. The session will cover Hanover Park’s municipal aggregation program and how much consumers are saving with FirstEnergy Solutions; how to avoid electricity scams; www.CUBenergysaver.com, a free online service that has helped consumers cut energy bills by an average of more than $100 a year; and spotting unnecessary charges on electric, natural gas and phone bills. Bring your bills for a free, one-on-one consultation with a CUB expert who will search for ways to lower costs.
