Thanks for help with food drive

The volunteers of F.I.S.H. Food Pantry would like to thank all the area residents who generously donated food May 11 for the National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive.

The food that was collected by the letter carriers has made a huge impact in our ability to feed local families this summer. This is our most difficult time of the year, when the children are out of school and do not receive free breakfasts and lunches as they do during the school year. Unfortunately, most people don’t think of food pantries during this time of the year and yet it is when we need the most help.

If you would like to help in our mission to feed the hungry, donations may be dropped off at our pantry which is located inside the Meadowdale Mall or can be mailed to P.O. Box 102, Carpentersville, IL 60110.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
