Buffalo Grove Chamber seeks nominees for community awards

The Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is getting ready to honor residents who care about their community. But before they do, they’re asking for the community’s help in identifying deserving nominees.

The 2013 Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards will be awarded to volunteers and individuals in the following categories — Community, Senior and Youth Volunteer awards; a Teach & Inspire award; and awards for Business Philanthropy, going ‘Above and Beyond,’ and a group award — Together We Can. The Awards will be presented Nov. 23 at a Celebration Gala Event at the Arboretum Club in Buffalo Grove.

Nomination forms are available on the chamber’s website, www.buffalogrovechamber.org, or Buffalo Grove Village Hall, 50 Raupp Boulevard, and the Chamber Office, 50 ½ Raupp Boulevard.

You can nominate more than one person for any and all awards. Nominations must be received by Sept. 13 to be eligible.
