Congress ought to be ashamed of itself

I thought in America it was “of the people, by the people, for the people.” Hasn’t Congress learned a house divided is not for the good of the people. Congress should be working together for the good of the nation, not creating divisiveness.

It galls me that in a country that claims wealth and greatness, we have a Congress who discriminates against the American people and will not provide national health care, when many other countries already have it. Also, the minimum wage in this day and age is a disgrace. I’d like Congress to put a pin in their egos and live on minimum wage with no health care. It’s all they deserve. Term limits are a good idea, too.

For all the good and bad our government does I’m sorry to say we are losing what this country stands for. I’m beginning to think Congress is un-American and that they should all be fired.

Maybe Congress can afford everything, but it leaves the rest of us up the proverbial creek without a paddle. For all the rhetoric they espouse, they take all and give very little.

Shame, shame, shame.
