LaSalle Network among fastest growing urban companies

Staffing and recruiting services provider LaSalle Network has been named on the 2013 Inner City 100, a list of the 100 fastest growing urban companies in America as determined by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City and Fortune magazine.

The Inner City 100 program recognizes successful inner city companies and their CEO’s as role models for entrepreneurship, innovative business practices and job creation in America’s urban communities.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as a company that is driving economic prosperity and creating jobs for local residents,” says Tom Gimbel, president and CEO of LaSalle Network. “Our goal has always been to support the community that has given us so much.”

Recipients of the award were selected based on their revenue growth over a 5-year period. LaSalle Network was ranked 91, with a 63 percent growth rate from 2007 to 2011. This is LaSalle’s second year on the list, having been recognized in 2011.

This year in total, the Inner City 100 winners created nearly 76,000 new jobs, employed more than 100,000 people, averaged 50 percent annual growth, and generated $2.1 billion in annual sales.

The rankings for each company were unveiled at the Inner City 100 Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 21st in Boston, Mass. Recipients attended a two-day event featuring seminars for Inner City 100 business owners and managers at Harvard Business School.

LaSalle Network is based in Chicago and has offices in Arlington Heights, Gurnee and Oak Brook.
