• Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

• All participants must perform sober.

• Only amateur acts will be seen. Acts with professional representation will not be eligible.

Judging

• Acts will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Suburban Chicago's Got Talent. All decisions of the judges are final. Acts will be scored based on the following three criteria: Entertainment Value & Appeal, Creativity and Ability. A portion of judging will also encompass live audience voting at each performance.

• Judges will select the 30 acts with the highest score to perform at the Top 30 shows on Sunday, June 23, and July 7. Suburban Chicago's Got Talent reserves the right to pick fewer than 30 acts, or to extend the auditions in its sole discretion if it does not receive a sufficient number of eligible and qualified entries. If there is a tie in number of votes, then the judges shall decide the Top 30 based on the scoring criteria. The same process will repeat to determine a Top 15, a Top 10 and overall winner.

• Online voting will be allowed after the Top 15 and Top 10 perform. The winner of the first round of voting is guaranteed a spot in the Top 10. The winner from both rounds of voting combined will be named Fan Favorite. The prize will be announced later.

• The winner of the competition, as determined by the judges, will get an expenses-paid trip to audition for an “America's Got Talent” screening panel.

• Winners are responsible for any taxes on prizes won.

Performances

• All participants must be available to perform at the performance dates listed above. Performances for the Top 30, Top 15 and Top 10 shows will all begin at 7 p.m. The Winner Announcement performance will feature another performance from the Top 10 acts. Eligible participants will be notified of their call time closer to the show date.
