Alcock, Wheaton North win in seventh inning

Emma Alcock hit a two-run single with the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, Wheaton North rallying with 3 runs in its final at bat to beat Naperville North 3-2 on Wednesday.

Wheaton North (5-16, 2-4 DuPage Valley Conference) scored the tying run on an error with the bases loaded, setting up Alcockā€™s late heroics. Amanda Mordacq scattered 7 hits for the win. Hannah Robert was 2-for-3 with a double and run scored for Naperville North (10-7, 5-3).
