We’d appreciate voting if we didn’t have it
With all the time, effort and money put into this past election, isn’t it a shame that only about 20 percent of the population of Des Plaines thought enough of our city to come out and vote for its leaders? Unlike most other countries, we have this privilege. Perhaps, however, one way to get the attention of everyone would be to deny this right. Watch the outcry and interest then.
