Congress, why fret over Saturday mail?

It baffles me as to why the stoic old lame duck Congress would even consider involving themselves with a Saturday mail delivery issue. Having Saturday delivery is a waste of time and resources.

Postal carriers might just like a five day a week job, but the stoic old lame duck Congress says no way. Why doesn’t Congress reconsider allowing pilots to work past their 60th birthday, maybe even to age 65? Congressional people as old as they are lunge forward well past their 90s. That’s another issue for them to ponder.
