Public needs to know public salaries
Thank you to Jake Griffin for his Tax Watchdog articles, especially the one March 6 on the outrageous pensions District 211 teachers and administrators get. They can’t be paid in future years. Also, the rest of Illinois should be furious that they are helping to pay for them.
So many times the Herald and other papers report on teacher strikes but never mention what they are earning. Thanks, Jake, for keeping taxpayers informed.
