Cellphone-while-driving ban lauded
Kudos to Representative Deborah Conroy of Elmhurst for her tenacity of voting against using a cellphone and/or texting while driving. Unfortunately some of her constituents favor such habits and voted differently.
Statistics prove that distractions violate common sense and warrant an authorized signature — via the coroner. Cellphones are a technical marvel and should be used as intended — reasons of need. Users need to recognize this, be vigilant and responsible with such modern marvels, not careless.
