Covering the campaigns at dailyherald.com

With Election Day only a month away, campaign season is about to kick into high gear.

Our election coverage will be kicking into high gear, too. These are the races that are closest to home — municipal contests including a large number for mayor; school, park, library and township boards; referendums; and a few other posts.

We began publishing endorsements on our Opinion page this week, and we’ll be publishing recommendations for a couple more weeks.

We expect to increase the number of campaign stories we’re reporting. And we’ll be publishing candidate Q&As on many of the races in the Neighbor section.

We’ve just launched our online election guide on dailyherald.com — and you’ll be able to tap into an ever-increasing amount of information anytime, 24 hours a day from now until Election Day, April 9.

We hope you find this useful. Thanks as always for reading.
