Praise for Ela Township roads
On the night of the Feb. 26 snowstorm, I couldn’t help but notice how well the roads were maintained in Ela Township. I think it is important that the Ela Township Highway commissioner, Bill Kruckenberg and his crew, receive the credit that is due.
I saw a number of cars in the ditches but none of them on the unincorporated roads. Kruckenberg and his employees seemingly stayed ahead of all the surrounding towns as far as preparation for the storm as well as overall maintenance throughout.
I just want to acknowledge how well the roads were and are in Ela and thank Bill Kruckenberg and his crew for allowing me to get home safely. They made my ride home a little easier.
