Bartlett police warn against electricity service solicitors

Bartlett police are warning residents against solicitors who are telling residents they are with ComEd or the village-approved electricity supplier in Bartlett.

The village does not have an electricity aggregation program at this time and has not selected a provider on behalf of the residents.

Police are encouraging residents to visit pluginIllinois.org if they have any concerns about a company or individual attempting to solicit electricity service in Bartlett.

Information can be found by clicking “Your Electric Choices” and then clicking “List of Suppliers.”

Residents are also encouraged to pick up a free “No Solicitors Invited” sticker from village hall and report any suspicious activity to police.
