Loch Lomond does not need curbs, gutters

I fail to understand why the people of Loch Lomond cannot have the roads repaired without having curbs and gutters.

We had several blocks in North Shore Park (at the opposite end of Mundelein) who were allowed to opt out of curbs and gutters when roads were redone here just a few years ago.

I know we had a different administration and a different engineer at that time, but ours works.

We are able to roll our wheelchairs to the road without having a curb in the way, which is certainly a “plus.”

None of the roads going down the hill to the lake, have curbs and gutters. The stormwater goes into the sewers on Lakeview Drive and then east to Route 45.
