How should its role in the community change?I believe the current economy and technological changes have had a great impact on our libraries. Our library, as with most libraries today, has made room for more computers. These computers see regular usage by people, both young and old who can't afford a computer in their home. People use the computers to write resumes, search for and apply to jobs, write research papers for school and for enjoyment. Having access to computers, offering digital books and programs for families with young children are all things that help keep our libraries relevant to our communities. I think the fox river grove library has evolved with our community and I look forward to continue my work has a trustee to help guide the library in the right direction as we move into the future.
