Fire rekindles at Chicago warehouse

Firefighters in Chicago are back at the scene of a massive warehouse fire on the city’s South Side after flames rekindled.

The fire originally broke out Tuesday night, leaving firefighters to battle the blaze in frigid temperatures that left the gutted structure caked in ice. More than 170 firefighters responded to the five-alarm fire, which authorities say was the city’s largest in recent years.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury while fighting the original blaze.

On Thursday morning, firefighters were back at the scene after flames again erupted at the warehouse.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
