Police: Man robs Buffalo Grove bank
Buffalo Grove police reported a bank robbery Thursday at Chase Bank, located within the Dominick's grocery store at 1160 W. Lake-Cook Road.
Police said the robbery occurred at 7:26 p.m.
According to police, an individual passed a note to a teller, demanding money.
The teller, police said, produced an undisclosed amount of money, after which the suspect, whose identity was concealed by a ski cap, left the scene.
The teller then promptly called 911, police said.
No one was harmed, police said.
It is not known if the suspect was armed.
The matter is under investigation by Buffalo Grove police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
