Don’t rip me off at the ballgame

Just saw where Zack Greinke is supposed to be signing a contract for six years for $147 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers. OK, I realize that I am old. I also realize that we have been dumbing down the American people for most of my life time. I would just like to ask how many of the 47 million people on food stamps can turn in their stamps and get a ticket to a Major League Baseball game if the players are going to be paid this obscene amount of money? I also realize that I am contributing to the dumbing down of the American people by even watching the games on TV, but you will never get me to pay for a ticket to a game that has gotten so out of touch with the average American. If you had a teacher who taught you to read, please do not ever buy another ticket to a major league game.
