Throwing its hat into the ring for iPhone mapping apps, Nokia has put its technology into its new HERE app. The app provides essentially the same things that users can get by using Nokia’s online mapping service. For instance, they can download full walking directions and offline mapping data to access in places with no service. The app also offers some public transit directions, though it does not provide turn-by-turn directions.
