Charges filed after Lake County courtroom fight

Charges have been filed against a man who fought with sheriff’s deputies at the main Lake County courthouse during a trial last week, authorities said. Keevan Fullwiley, 35, of the 2300 block of 33rd Street in Zion, was charged with three counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, felony failure to return from a furlough and threatening a public official. The charges stemmed from a Nov. 29 confrontation in a courtroom, police said. The fight occurred after Fullwiley had been found guilty of drug charges, police said.
