I totally agree with your final conclusion to endorse the Romney/Ryan ticket but not your seeming lack of enthusiasm for it. Also, the depth of your assessment is, in my opinion, inadequate.
However, for an opinion page news article, perhaps you covered as much as practical (not enough space to devote to a large number of key issues) and wanted to give your Obama-supporting readers a bit of a soft landing.
