Experience, judgment needed in prosecutor

I support Chris Kennedy for Lake County state’s attorney for three reasons.

One, Chris has the integrity and intelligence to run the office ethically. The current Office of State’s Attorney has a record, including being castigated by the Illinois Supreme Court, for wrongful prosecutions. Only a change can rectify this situation.

Two, Chris has wide ranging legal experience as both a prosecutor and as an attorney specializing in civil litigation. This range of legal experience provides Chris Kennedy with perspective, savvy, skill and insight.

Three, as a current school board member and advocate for persons with disabilities, Chris brings a wide range of life experiences to the prosecutor’s office. A state’s attorney must make sound and tough decisions about prosecuting bona fide criminals. Rather than being a one-dimensional person and attorney, Chris Kennedy will provide Lake County with maturity of judgment and broad understanding.

Our next Lake County state’s attorney needs experience, toughness, sound judgment and a range of life experiences. Chris Kennedy is the candidate to stop prosecutorial abuse in Lake County and restore justice.
