Pollwatchers credentials, training:

Lake County pollwatcher credentials are available to qualified political organizations needing credentials for the Nov. 6 General Election. All pollwatchers are required to have credentials issued by the Lake County Clerk in order to observe at voting sites. Pollwatchers may represent candidates, established political parties, qualified civic organizations and organized proponents or opponents of ballot propositions. The clerk’s office will offer training on the rights and limitations of pollwatchers on Monday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. at the Lake County Courthouse and Administration Complex, 18 N. County St., County Board Office Conference Room A, Waukegan. Requests for credentials and registration for the class can be sent via email to elections@lakecountyil.gov or by calling (847) 377-2314.
