Voter registration ends Oct. 9 in Kane

Kane County Clerk John A. Cunningham reminds Kane County residents that the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 6 General Election will be Tuesday, Oct. 9.

The County Clerk’s office is open for registration from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

In addition, most libraries, municipal, and township offices in Kane County do accept registrations until Oct. 9.

Grace period registration is an extension of the period of time for a voter to register to vote, or to update their registration information.

Registration will resume on Thursday, Nov. 8.

The Kane County Clerk’s Voter Registration office is located in Building B at the Kane County Government Center, 719 S. Batavia Ave., Route 31, Geneva.

Kane County residents may check their registration online by going to kanecountyelections.com and click on “Are you registered?” and following the directions on the page.
