Chicago airports to host art exhibit on nature
Travelers through Chicago’s airports will get a chance to take in some art depicting the area’s natural beauty.
A new photo exhibit features very 250 photographs. The Chicago Park District last year asked local people to send in their best photographs in several categories. Those include pictures of native plants and the city’s waterfront.
The traveling exhibit is called “Nature in Chicago” and has been on display at several park district facilities.
It’s currently on display at O’Hare International Airport in Terminal 2 near a children’s play area. It’ll be at Midway International Airport starting Oct. 10.
The photos will later be auctioned off and the proceeds will go toward conservation efforts.
