Barrington holds meeting on emerald ash borer

Barrington officials are inviting village residents to a community informational meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19 to discuss the emerald ash borer. The meeting will be held at Barrington village hall, 200 S. Hough St. The village will review its EAB policy as it relates to both public and private trees. Mark Dunteman, ISA-certified arborist and the village’s EAB consultant, will discuss facts and issues relating to the EAB problem.
