Night life events: Brew with an Air & Water show view
Flying high at the Sand Bar
Catch the Chicago Air & Water show from the best seat in the house — the Sand Bar Beer Garden, a pop-up beer garden with unlimited food and drink. Located at the northeast corner of the North Avenue Beach Boat House, the beer garden is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. serving Miller Lite, Coors Light, Goose Island 312 and sangria. Eats include barbecue chicken breasts, burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, salads, chips and fruit. Tickets for Friday cost $60, and Saturday and Sunday cost $75.

Wine tasting
Sip and nibble the tastes of France and Spain at a wine tasting at Mon Ami Gabi from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21. Enroll in Lettuce Entertain You's wine club, and the event is free! The cost is $25 per person for nonmembers. The evening includes appetizers.
