Pitching matchups: The Sox' Jake Peavy (6-5) vs. Aaron Laffey (0-0) Friday at 7:10 p.m.; Gavin Floyd (6-8) vs. Ricky Romero (8-3) Saturday at 3:10 p.m.; TBA vs. Brett Cecil (2-1) Sunday at 1:10 p.m.

At a glance: After sweeping a three-game series against the Rangers, the White Sox close out the first half against the Blue Jays. The Sox lost two of three home games to the Blue Jays in early June. Peavy has a 2.76 ERA over his last six starts, but he's 0-4. Alex Rios is batting .488 with 3 home runs and 9 RBI during a 10-game hitting streak. Dylan Axelrod (0-1, 4.91 ERA) is likely to start for the White Sox on Sunday.
