Elmo greets kids at Rosemont fire station

Sesame Street Live will zoom into the Chicago area Thursday, May 3, to Sunday, May 13, with “Elmo’s Super Heroes” at the Akoo Theatre at Rosemont.

Elmo made a special early stop at the Fire Station II, 5800 River Road, Tuesday, April 10, where he visited with children from Rosemont School and was deputized by Mayor Brad Stephens and the Chief of Public Safety Donald Stephens III.

Sesame Street Live’s “Elmo’s Super Heroes” will be presented at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, May 3, and Friday, May 4; 10:30 a.m. and 2 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday, May 5; and 1 and 4:30 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at the Rosemont Theatre, 5400 N. River Road, Rosemont.

Tickets are $15, $25 and $30. A limited number of $40 Gold Circle seats and $85 Sunny Seats are also available. Opening Night, all seats (excluding Gold Circle and Sunny Seats) are $15. A $2 facility fee will be added to all ticket prices. Additional fees and discounts may apply. Play Zone admission is free with every show ticket.
