Nekritz, Morrison, Sumption visiting Wheeling Dems Wednesday

State Rep. Elaine Nekritz of Northbrook and Democratic candidates for the 29th State Senate District, Julie Morrison and Milton Sumption, will speak to the Wheeling Township Democratic Organization Wednesday night.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the program with Nekritz, Morrison and Sumption will begin at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the organization’s offices at 1310 W. Northwest Highway in Arlington Heights.

Rep. Nekritz is running for re-election while Morrison and Sumption are campaigning for the nomination to replace retiring 29th District State Sen. Susan Garrett.

WTDO members in good standing will participate in the group’s endorsement process for several 2012 Democratic Primary races during the second part of the meeting. The endorsement session is limited to dues-paying members.
