Funeral services set for Elgin business owner
Funeral arrangements for Victor Gonzalez, the prominent Elgin business owner who died Friday, have been finalized.
Gonzalez, 41, was the executive director of the Downtown Neighborhood Association, owner of Elgin Jewelers and manager of the Ravenheart Coffee. He died after a battle with stomach cancer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 28, with prayers at 7 p.m. in the chapel of the Wait Ross Allanson Funeral Home, 51 Center Street, Elgin.
The funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 29, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 272 Division Street, Elgin, with interment at Prairie Cemetery on Crane Road in St. Charles.
