2 dead, 1 injured in Chicago shooting

The Chicago Tribune reports that the attack happened at about 10 a.m. Tuesday in the South Austin neighborhood.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office says 20-year-old Stephen Carson was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital. Authorities say 24-year-old Tienne Pinson also was pronounced dead while being treated at a hospital.

The third victim is another 20-year-old man, who is listed in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital after undergoing surgery.

The shooting remains under investigation. No arrests had been made.
