Star Trek 45 packed, and sold out

Of all the conventions going on in the Chicago area this weekend, this might be the only one that’s sold out.

So if you don’t have a ticket, the organizers of STAR TREK 45 at the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont are politely asking you not to show up.

Which is too bad, because it’s a pretty star-packed lineup, led by Leonard Nimoy, who got sick last year and couldn’t make the Chicago convention. He’s back this year, in what is being billed as the 80-year-old actor’s last appearance at a Trek convention.

He’s joined by Rene Auberjonois, Nichelle Nichols, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner and a host of other actors who had prominent roles in the canon.
