White Sox activate RF Quentin from disabled list
The Chicago White Sox have activated right fielder Carlos Quentin from the 15-day disabled list.
The White Sox made the move before their series opener against the Detroit Tigers on Monday night. Quentin was not in the starting lineup.
Quentin sprained his left shoulder while making a diving catch against Texas on Aug. 20. He was put on the disabled list on Aug. 27.
Quentin is hitting .255 with 24 home runs and 77 RBIs.
