Bradley University to offer semester in Hollywood

PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University students, welcome to Hollywood!

The Peoria school says its new “Hollywood Semester” is an intense program in Los Angeles giving students the chance to learn about the entertainment industry. It will first be offered during the spring semester of 2012.

Students will participate in internships, academic courses and have guest lectures. Coursework will focus on both the business and creative sides of the entertainment industry. Students also will be able to visit Hollywood studios.

The program is offered at the University of Texas-Austin’s facility in Burbank, Calif. A limited number of Bradley students will be able to participate and will be chosen based on grades and prerequisite courses.
