Sky scouting report

Connecticut Sun (4-1) at Chicago Sky (3-3)

When: 7 p.m., Allstate Arena

TV: Comcast CN100

Last time: On Sunday, the Sun defeated the visiting Sky, 83-68; on Tuesday, the Sky lost to the host Atlanta Dream, 71-68.

Skinny: It’s the Sky’s turn for some revenge. On June 10, the Sky got its first win of the season by defeating the Connecticut Sun in its home opener at Allstate Arena. Then Sunday, nine days later, the Sun evened the score by handing the Sky a lopsided loss to snap its three-game winning streak. Now for Round 3. … The biggest difference between the first and second games was the Sky’s defense on Sun center Tina Charles. She was held to a season-low 8 points in the first game and exploded for a season-high 31 points (and 12 rebounds) in the second game. Sylvia Fowles, who will match up most often on Charles, will have to up the ante on the defensive end. Offensively, Fowles has been consistent. With 21 points against Atlanta, she scored 20-plus points for the fifth game in a row, a Sky record. … Against the Dream, turnovers and a slow start were the biggest problems for the Sky. The Sky committed a total of 19 turnovers and fell behind by as many as 14 points.

Next: Phoenix Mercury at Sky, 7 p.m. Saturday
