Gurnee Chamber celebrates 2nd year

On Friday, June 17 at Stevens' restaurant in Gurnee, the Village of Gurnee Chamber of Commerce held its annual event celebrating their second year as a chamber of commerce in Gurnee.

The fun-filled evening included - Napa Valley-inspired dishes, live entertainment by The Real Deal Band with each guest receiving 2 free drinks and a complimentary wine glass, plus raffled prizes throughout the night.

Mayor Kristine Kovarik and several of the attendees had nothing but great things to say about the evening and the thriving chamber.

“This is a fabulous event tonight! Great turnout, great food, and great company! A rousing success!”, said the Mayor.

Recognized for outstanding service to the chamber, Candy Phelps of iCandy Graphics and Printing was awarded "Business of the Year" by Brad Jenks, chairman of the chamber.

The mission of the Village of Gurnee Chamber of Commerce is to foster close business relationships, provide valuable benefits and services to its members, and enhance the economic viability and growth of the local business community. It's the first business organization that focuses on and devotes 100 percent of its resources to the Village of Gurnee business community.
