Arlington Hgts. holding roadside safety check
The Arlington Heights Police Department has already begun a Memorial Day traffic enforcement campaign funded with grant money that will feature a roadside safety check the evening of Friday, May 27.
Enforcement activities will include saturation patrols” and safety belt enforcement zones at various locations and times and the roadside safety check on Arlington Heights Road near Algonquin Road. The primary focus of all the efforts will be to identify motorists who choose to drive without using safety belts, as well as those who choose to drive while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
