Huntley Tea Party plans forum

The Huntley Area Tea Party will host a public forum at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the Cosman Cultural Center, 12015 Mill St. in Huntley.

The subject will be the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Featured speakers will Dr. Arie Friedman and C. Steven Tucker.

Friedman, a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine, also served seven years in the U.S. Navy as a helicopter pilot conducting 406 shipboard landings including 183 at night. He was deployed twice, including once to the Persian Gulf as part of Operation Desert Storm.

Tucker is a multistate licensed health insurance broker and is the founder of Small Business Insurance Services. He has appeared in Wall Street Journal, Fortune Small Business Magazine, Atlantic Information Services from Washington D.C. and other business journals around the nation. He has also been a frequent speaker on the PPACA at many forums.
