Chance to vote for outdoors rights

Who would have thought anglers and hunters would ever have to go to the polls to protect what we cherish?

When voters in Arizona, Arkansas, South Carolina and Tennessee go to the polls to cast their ballots in the congressional elections on Nov. 2, they will also be asked if they support making hunting and fishing constitutional rights.

Proponents of the changes like some in Tennessee are fearful that increasing urbanization is causing residents to lose touch with the land, while groups like the Sierra Club are warning that constitutional changes will limit the ability of the states to pass better wildlife management laws.

Wolf walleyes: If you heart calls you to Wisconsin, you may want drive to Fremont on the Wolf River, where walleyes are hitting minnows and crankbaits.
