Report: Bulls will sign Scalabrine

The Bulls plan to sign former Boston forward Brian Scalabrine to a non-guaranteed contract, according to Yahoo.com. The 6-foot-9 Scalabrine played sparingly during five seasons with the Celtics, averaging 1.5 points last year, but has been known to drop in 3-point baskets occasionally.

New Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau was an assistant with Boston the past three years. Adding Scalabrine would give the Bulls 13 players under contract. They'll open training camp on Monday at the Berto Center.
