Taste of Lincolnshire offers food, live music, prizes

Enjoy a wide variety of food, listen to live music and win prizes at the 9th Annual Taste of Lincolnshire this weekend.

Sample a wide variety of cuisine from both new participants and familiar friends. Restaurants and food vendors participating in this year's event include Flatlander's Restaurant and Brewery, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse, Bill's Pizza and Pub, Prairie House, Cubby Bear North, Noodles and Co., Big Bowl, Kona Grill, Philly G's, Bob Chinn's Crab House, King's Wharf, Smokin' T's BBQ, El Barrio, Dairy Queen, Candy Bouquet and the Lincolnshire Morningstar Rotary.

Live music is in the lineup all weekend. Friday, the Downhome Sophisticates will be appearing featuring some great blues and jazz. The evening will wrap up with the great sounds of the Class of '68, frequent performers at the Taste of Lincolnshire. On Saturday, a special performance by dance groups from the Lincolnshire Academy of Dance kick off the fun in the early afternoon. Victor Pacini begins the evening's entertainment followed by the great sounds of C-Factor. Sunday, visitors can listen to Loose Change and Friends, Suburban Cowboys with Mid-Life Crisis closing out a great weekend of entertainment.

Children of all ages will have plenty to keep them busy at the Taste of Lincolnshire, with carnival-style games and prizes, activities, crafts and plenty of fun with Sunshine Crafts, 2 BU Studios and the Lincolnshire Club.

Visitors to this year's Taste of Lincolnshire will have the opportunity to enter to win a $10,000 Curb Appeal Makeover from Mormino Landscape Services Inc.

The Taste of Lincolnshire is brought to the community by the Greater Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Village of Lincolnshire.
