May 22, Indiana Fever: Former Stevenson star Tamika Catchings and the Indiana Fever, the 2009 Eastern Conference champions, help the Sky break in Allstate Arena in the home opener.

May 27, Seattle Storm: The Storm was the second-best team in the Western Conference last year (behind the WNBA champion Phoenix Mercury) and features two of the best players in the league in point guard Sue Bird and forward Lauren Jackson.

June 5, Tulsa Shock: The former Detroit Shock, which swept the Sky over four games last season to help eliminate hopes of a playoff berth, will make its first appearance in Chicago representing the state of Oklahoma after moving in the off-season.

June 8, New York Liberty: Newly acquired Sky players Shameka Christon and Cathrine Kraayeveld get their first shot at their old team on their new turf. The Liberty will fire back with their prize from April's blockbuster three-team trade, which sent Chicago native and perennial all-star Cappie Pondexter to the Big Apple from Phoenix.

June 11, Washington Mystics: Former Ohio State star and perennial WNBA all-star Katie Smith, who spent the last five years with the Detroit Shock, will be wearing a Mystics jersey in her 12th year in the league.

June 15, Atlanta Dream: Armintie Price, the Sky's No. 1 pick in the 2007 draft (third overall) and the 2007 WNBA rookie of the year, was traded to Atlanta 22 games into last season. This is Price's first game back in Chicago.

Aug. 10, Phoenix Mercury: Former Sky star Candice Dupree (the franchise's first draft choice) makes her only appearance of the season. Taurasi was the 2009 WNBA most valuable player and the most valuable player of the 2009 WNBA Finals.
