Aurora businesses pass liquor test

A recent undercover operation aimed at assuring Aurora businesses that sell liquor are asking for identification from customers who appear younger than 21 resulted in a perfect score last week.

The investigation was conducted by the police department's special operations group with assistance from the department's underage Cadets who attempted to buy liquor at businesses across the city.

All 15 establishments that were targeted requested identification and did not sell the alcohol.
