Bean let taxpayers down on economy

When the housing market bubble burst, it started a chain reaction that put us in the economic free-fall we are suffering through right now.

One group at the top of the blame list is the House Financial Services Committee.

Committee Chairman, Democrat Barney Frank, ignored warnings that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were putting the taxpayers at risk.

Either through ignorance or corruption, they failed to protect the taxpayers.

We can't do much about Barney Frank but we can look closer to home and ask Melissa Bean why she didn't do anything to protect us.

Bean is also a member of the Financial Services Committee and shares in the blame for our current financial mess.

We deserve a representative who will stand up to partisan politics and special interest money to protect the citizens of the 8th District. Vote for Steve Greenberg to reform Washington.
