Irish dancers show Arlington Heights students how it's done
Trinity Irish Dancers showed some Arlington Heights students a traditional way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day - by dancing.
The dancers along with members of the Glengael Pipe Band performed for the entire Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic School student body Tuesday, said Alan Musial, the school's principal.
"It's a fun day for us," said Musial. "We learn about St. Patrick in our religion classes and really get into the spirit."
About 20 Wayside students are also members of the dance group. Members of the Irish dance group have been performing at the school on St. Patrick's Day for about 10 years.
